i totally f***** up my computer

i started to update my computer to 8.10 from8.04 but i accidentally restarted my computer now my computer wont update anything and it looks really old.and it says gnome trying to fix daymon what do i do??

I don't know if this would work but try this command

# sudo apt-get --fix-missing upgrade

I would just reinstall, but thats just me since I just started using linux, too.

yea maybe...but i didnt use a disc it came on my com;uter...i got it from free geek

you can find download ubuntu there. burn the iso to a disc and boot from your cd drive.
