Problem with Ubuntu 20.04.1 ? Initramfs and nvme filesystem problem?

Asked by Piotr

Dear Launchpad Community,

I have problem with Ubuntu 20.04.1. I can see some errors? Can you tell me what this information means?:

Dmesg output for nvme:

[4.344437] EXT4-fs (nvme0n1p2): mounted filesystem with ordered data mode. Opts: (null)
[4.344437] EXT4-fs (nvme0n1p3): mounted filesystem with ordered data mode. Opts: (null)

What is mean ordered data mode? This is not good information for me? I can use these partitions or format it and install system or not?

Dmesg for initramfs:

[1.288622] Trying to unpack rootfs image as initramfs...

I also noticed this information when I boot up my system:

Initramfs unpacking failed: Decoding failed

What is mean that unpacking failed? I started with liveUSB. This means that this system is not compatible with my PC and I can't install system? I think that initramfs is very important component of linux kernel so I don't know if it safe to install system if this message was arrived.

Can you help?
