Ryzen 2 series or 3 series + Geforce GT710 --> potential problem on linux?

I sold my Intel Comet Lake platform and I would like to buy Ryzen 5 2600 or Ryzen 7 3700x. I will pair this with Geforce GT710 but I would like to know if is true that Ryzen doesn't like linux? I found this subject on kernel website: https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=206903

Do you confirm that you also have problem with randomly crash (reboots) with Ryzen platform on Linux? I will be apreciate for opinion. I still can buy Intel Comet Lake platform with better motherboard and CPU than mine what I sold.

I also want to know what is good motherboard for Intel Comet Lake for Linux. I don't want to buy Gigabyte because I had problems with motherboard (probably BIOS) both on windows and linux.
