Delete Mirror Registration

Hi,

I have registered a Mirror Repository "https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+mirror/ims.jit.ac.in-release".

Now we have migrated to a new address and it's been registered and now it's been an Official.

But we need to delete. I have mailed to <email address hidden>.

In reply, they marked it unofficial but they can't delete because of permission related issue with the resolving team.

And I can't delete it, in my launchpad login.

I request to delete the above mentioned mirror and in future provide some kind of options to automate the procedure for update & deletion of mirror related issues in launchpad itself.

I had the answer from the following thread https://answers.launchpad.net/launchpad/+question/195128

So we cannot remove the ubuntu repository mirrors as it holds the logs. Hence it's only possible to unlist from official mirror list.

For a request to update https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Mirrors this again is not the right address.
Either update the wiki page yourself, or look at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Mirrors#Communication
