Did you had problems with settings for mouse sensitivity in Lubuntu 20.04 LTS with LXQt or Lubuntu 18.04 LTS with LXDE?

Asked by Piotr

Dear Community,

I had problem with mouse sensitivity on Lubuntu 18.04 LTS. Like we know this had LXDE environment. I makes some change and I fixed it myself. Yesterday I downloaded Lubuntu 20.04.2 LTS with LXQt and I can see that this have this same issue with mouse settings like in LXDE environment. In default settings my mouse have too high sensitivity and it is too fast. I wanted to decrease my mouse sensitivity so I did changes in lxqt configuration panel and I choosed the lowest values what was possible but after this I didn't notice any changes or very small changes. My mouse is still too fast. I have this issue on other mouse so this is not problem with device. On Ubuntu 20.04.2 with GNOME environment I don't have this issue so this is problem with Lubuntu and LXQt/LXDE (both had this issue like i said) environment. I reported bug on launchpad. I hope that someone will fix it.

On LXQt do you have solution with sensitivity problem? Can you help?

Yours faithfully,
Piotr

Okay, thank you actionparsnip. So this is problem with LXQt 0.14.1 and should be fixed by Lubuntu Developers or should be do upgrade to LXQt 0.15 version to fix this issue. This issue probably is fixed in LXQt 0.15 version
