Gnome Disks image no longer boots after restore

I made a image with Gnome Disks of a bootable pci-e3 m2 nvme drive. After restoring it won't boot,

Ubuntu 18.04.5
Samsung 960 EVO M.2 NVMe PCI-E 250GB
GIGABYTE X470 AORUS Ultra Gaming

In gparted manage flag is grayed out, no access.

What partition scheme did you use when partitioned the OS ? Primary, Extended, etc.
