is there another way to install ubuntu studio with out burning it to a DVD-R?

is there away just like if you were to install ubuntu using wubi, or do i have to burn it to a DVD-R

Wow, glad that helped. I find that guide quite confusing so feel free to post specific questions if anything isn't completely clear because we can probably just link you to the last time someone asked the same question ;) lol. We've had a lot of improvements in the Usb stick method in last couple of weeks, so if you can then go for that option rather than the net-boot or others ;)

well through the page you sent me i found something were 8.10 updates to ubuntu studio and i did it without any problems
