Lubuntu 20.04 LTS - I can't find iso image for 20.04.1 and 20.04.2.0. We have only 20.04.2 on the Ubuntu mirror. Where can I report it to improve this?

Asked by Piotr

Dear Community,

Like in the title. I would like to download from official server Lubuntu 20.04.1 or 20.04.2.0 image but I can find only 20.04.2 version of the system on Ubuntu server.

Link:

- All version of Lubuntu - http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/lubuntu/releases/
- For Focal - http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/lubuntu/releases/focal/release/

On Focal I can't find 20.04.1 and 20.04.2.0. I want to stay with 5.4 kernel so probably I want to try 20.04.1.

Where I can report this problem? And Why Ubuntu Developers removed 20.04.1 iso and doesn't upload 20.04.2.0?

Maybe someone know something and can help me?

A version "20.04.2.0" has never existed.
What is wrong with the 20.04.2 version?

Sorry, I am wrong, please ignore my previous message.
There are files with such name on https://releases.ubuntu.com/20.04/
I was not aware of that I, to be honest, I do not have a clue what the background is for this new version numbering.

If you are have a question about the Lubuntu installers, then please ask at the Lubuntu pages https://discourse.lubuntu.me/ and not on the Ubuntu support site.

Okay, I thinked that someone maybe use also Lubuntu and have more. So I must ask Lubuntu developers.

20.04.2.0 was a hotfix to address an error in the installer: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1915114

Lubuntu was not affected, so they didn't make new ISO images. https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-announce/2021-February/000265.html

Okay, so this is why Lubuntu doesn't have iso with 20.04.2.0 version but why they remove 20.04.1 iso from Ubuntu mirror?
Where I can find 20.04.1 version with 5.4 kernel?

Repeating again:

This is not the right address for asking such question.
Ask Lubuntu, not Ubuntu

Now I found that Ubuntu 20.04.1 is also not available on https://releases.ubuntu.com/

It migrated to old releases mirror. What is a reason to do it. Ubuntu 20.04.1 with kernel 5.4 is still maintained so why this was deleted from releases.ubuntu.com mirror? It have not sense.
