Thank you for taking the time to report this issue and helping to make Ubuntu better. Examining the information you have given us, this does not appear to be a bug report so we are closing it and converting it to a question in the support tracker. We understand the difficulties you are facing, but it is better to raise problems you are having in the support tracker at https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu if you are uncertain if they are bugs. You can also find help posting your problem in the support forum of your local Ubuntu's community http://loco.ubuntu.com/ or asking at http://askubuntu.com. For help on reporting bugs, see https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs.

For diagnostic purposes please follow https://help.ubuntu.com/community/GraphicsTroubleshootingProcedure with the deviation that in step 3 you should not create a new question document, but please add all output into this one which you have already created.

i have had the same issue at about the same time also with ubuntu 20.10 following a recent update, i took a very amateur video of what it looks like:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1FH8D14ps0FixGPV0FWa6ukHC4corTKit/view

i was told that doing the following:
sudo apt-get purge xserver-xorg-video-intel
sudo apt-get install xserver-xorg-video-intel

would fix it, unfortunately it did not, this is not an issue i have ever had before and literally appeared out of no where, my specs are:
Intel® Celeron(R) CPU 1017U @ 1.60GHz × 2
Intel® HD Graphics 2500 (IVB GT1)
64-bit
VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 3rd Gen Core processor Graphics Controller (rev 09) (prog-if 00 [VGA controller])

please check the link to confirm if this is the same issue you are having

GPU: Intel® HD Graphics 4000 (IVB GT2)
CPU: Intel® Core™ i5-3230M CPU @ 2.60GHz × 4

You still haven't told us enough details, e.g. which display driver you are using.

Provide an answer of your own, or ask John Magdy Lotfy for more information if necessary.
