Cannot adjust brightness when dualbooting

Asked by Petr Horák

Ubuntu 20.04 dualbooting with win10, cannot adjust brightness in Ubuntu. Tried several things, installed possible drivers for nvidia RTX 3060 graphics card but no good result achieved. Another issue was collision between display settings of nvidia driver and native display settings but it could be irrelevant.

As there are many apps that are not supported on Linux, having only Ubuntu is not a option for me.

I am using Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS with Gnome 3.36.8 and X11 windowing system.
