Is the OS fully updated? You can check with:

sudo apt update
sudo apt full-upgrade

This may help

Luis M.Jacinto (ljacinto) said : #2

Yes was fully updated
Reinstall Firefox but still the some.

If you delete ~/.mozilla then start it does it run OK? I assume you don't use Thunderbird as your email client. If you do then don't run that command and I can give you something more precise.

Don't use Thunderbird as email client.
After delete the folder click on Firefox icon still hangs Ubuntu.
Reboot Ubuntu and repeat the operation still hangs Ubuntu.

If you run:

firefox

From a terminal, is there any output that can show an issue?

What is the output of:

lsb_release -a; uname -a; apt-cache policy firefox

Thanks

If you install a different web browser, is it the same?

Luis M.Jacinto (ljacinto) said : #8

Firefox reinstall and working
I dint want to have a different Browser, I complete remove Firefox (so I thought) and reinstall.
To remove used Synaptic then:

sudo apt install firefox
sudo apt upgrade

Now I have another problem I get two Firefox icons on Show Application (Dash?) if click on
certain one it hangs the computer.
Please let me how how to delete it from Dash it seems there is no Delete on this version of Ubuntu.
Thank you

Installing a different browser was for testing purposes only....
