Wine ubuntu 21.04 file fix?

Hi how long did you come with wine (5.0.3-3) on ubuntu 21.04?
because its look in gnome its not set default open as wine application so its much be do after install.

Its did not works well so tryed with:

but that is likely poor so why its so old?

Its possible to get idea why its so hard?

Plenty of native chess games for Ubuntu. You could use those. Did you check the Wine AppDb for compatibility? Not all applications can be ran successfully with WINE
