Doesn't show/connect front mic

Asked by MadhuSoodanan

Ubuntu 20.04.1

My PC doesn't show input device -- Front mic. But rear mic is ok. It works well. But even after I connected the mic in the front mic port it doesn't show as enabled. I used "alsamixer" in terminal and set it correctly. But it didn't show my front mic device.

Installed sound switcher. But doesn't connect front mic. Can't record sound.

Even if it doesn't show the input device there, I could connect it in audacity. I chose the correct recording device in it. Now it is working.
