You don't install drivers for a router. You install drivers for the WiFi adapter or the Ethernet adapter you have.

I have a specific problem, I have a notebook and unfortunately it disconnects Wi-Fi from time to time, the only thing that helps is to manually turn off the Wifi network and turn it on, it gives me the opportunity to use the Internet for a while. I tested an external Wifi card and it did not help, now I am testing a mobile router that I can provide internet via usb but I do not have linux drivers.

What is the output of:

sudo lshw -C network; lsb_release -a; uname -a; sudo dmidecode -t 1
