when I try to use gnome extentions it requires chrome gnome shell but even after installing it I am still getting this error.

when I try to use gnome extentions it requires chrome gnome shell but even after installing it I am still getting this error "Although GNOME Shell integration extension is running, native host connector is not detected. Refer documentation for instructions about installing connector."
UBUNTU VERSION 20.04.2
GNOME VERSION 3.36.8
