Attempt to read or write outside of disk ‘hd0’

Asked by Luis M.Jacinto

Installing 4 times Ubuntu 20.04 and after few days when Booting it stops
with errors and one is “Attempt to read or write outside of disk ‘hd0’”.
I use live USB 20.04.1 and install and run Boot-Repair it reports the following.
“Please disable BIOS-compatibility/CSM/Legacy mode in your UEFI
firmware from live-CD (or live=USB) that is compatible with UEF booting mede.
For example use a live-USB of Boot-Repair-disk-64bit”
Don't know what I should do can some one explain and help me fix this.
Thank you

Is this a dual boot or is Ubuntu the only OS on the system?

Did you try to install with compatibility mode in the BIOS (legacy) as well as secure boot?

What exactly is happening when you try booting Ubuntu?

It might be helpful, if you run boot-info again, upload the results to a pastebin system and provide the link in this question document.

Don‘t understand “ run boot-info again”.

Booting the PC a page opens with:
error: attempt to read or write outside of disk ‘hd0’
grab rescue>

Don't know what I should do with (grab rescue>)

"I use live USB 20.04.1 and install and run Boot-Repair it reports the following."

Please do this again, and select boot-info and not boot-repair.
