You will need superuser privileges. Run as: sudo sane-find-scanner

The Desktop version of Ubuntu 14.04 is not supported any extra since April 2019. There is simplest limited support for the server model of Ubuntu 14.04 under ESM (Extended Security Maintenance, a paid option thru Ubuntu Advantage to get prolonged guide and safety updates for decided on server applications). See https://wiki.Ubuntu.Com/Releases as you can see here https://limousinepearsonairport.ca/

Can you help with this problem?
