Ubuntu 20.10 Not Detecting Monitor

Hello. I just switched from Windows 10 to Linux. I installed Linux Mint Cinnamon 20.04 first, but for some reason my second monitor was not being detected. I search for hours for a solution and found nothing. I decided to switch to Kunbuntu KDE 20.10 and still, not monitor detection. Again, I searched for hours looking for a solution and the best I can glean is I'm having issues because of my GPU and driver. I have no idea how to fix this issue and I cannot go back to Windows (where I had no issues with my second monitor) because I deleted it completely.

I'm not sure what info people will need to help me troubleshoot this issue, so I'll post what I have seen as a pattern from similar problems.

I've solved the problem. I installed the intel_gpu_tools, plugged in the tv/monitor and everything worked fine.
