kernel build flag LOAD_X64_ON_IA32_ENABLE

Asked by lorn10

Hello to all!
Can someone please tell me here if newer ubuntu Linux kernels are build with parameter LOAD_X64_ON_IA32_ENABLE? That one is important for EFI mixed mode booting. It was introduced in kernel version 5.7 and allows a booting of a 64-bit kernel from a 32-bit EFI firmware through EFISTUB. If not, then I would add a feature request. ;-) Thanks!

You can make a feature request. One way is to file a bug report list it as a Wishlist. The new current kernel is 5.8.0-41
File a bug report start apport open Terminal: ubuntu-bug linux This will collect information and add to the bug report automatically. This will make the bug report about the kernel.
