Ubuntu v20 audio distorted

Asked by Chin Seran

I upgraded Ubuntu 16 to version 20. The audio on my external speakers is distorted.
This was working fine in version 16 and also works in windows 10. I have a dual boot system.
The distortion is also coming from the internal speakers. Can this be related.

I have re-installed the Alsa drivers and among others I have gone through this document:

I have resolved this issue.
It was caused by VLC media player. I re-installed it.

Thanks for your response.
