Lock screen looping, cannot re-enter session, 20.10 on X

Whenever the screen locks and is then unlocked, the desktop is shown for ~1 second before returning to the lock screen.

Disregard, turned out to be a GNOME extension (BottomPanel).

Having already deactivated the only extension I was running explicitly dealing with the lock screen I raised the issue.
