What happens when you boot, do you see anything?
Which release of Ubuntu?
Does the system have a make and model?
Do you have the latest BIOS?
Is the Ubuntu install fully updated?
Is this a new issue on an old install or has this never worked?
How did you install the OS if the monitor isn't recognised?
