installing joomla?????

Is anyone here who can tell me the whole procedure for " how to install joomla1.5 in ubuntu 8.04" ???????
Please give me the whole procedure right from beginning till end

i disable to set mysql root password every time i give command "mysql -u root" it generates following error-

ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO)

yes!!!! i have managed to sort the things n i've installed joomla and it is working fine but now here is an problem firefox in my ubuntu is not running any of the .php file when i open it ask to "Save it or either to Open it" right now m working on konqueror it is working fine......

If you look at the properties of your .php files, are they set to be executable?

Via a GUI, simply right click the .php file, then select Properties. In there, choose Permissions and near the bottom should be a box entitled Execute. Tick that box.
