Start by usb stick ubuntu 20.10

Asked by Marcos Nascimento

Hi!

I recorded a usb stick from ubuntu 20.10, however my notebook starts only in legacy mode. Is that the way it is? In earlier versions of ubuntu started in efi normally. My notebook is the Lenovo ideapad 330-15IKB.

Thank you for attention!

I suggest you report a bug. 20.10 is not ready and not stable. If you want an OS that works then I suggest you wipe the 20.10 installer and use 20.04. 20.04 (codename Focal) is also LTS and supported until April 2025. 20.10 (codename Groovy) is only supported for 9 months.

Ok, I already use version 20.04. My intention is to test version 20.10 and know what's new. I'll report the issue as bug.
