How to increase memory of system

I Have installed ubuntu in vista and i have assigned a less memory for ubuntu but i think i need more memory for it so give proper steps to increase memory of system without affecting the memory of other system.

Can you explain how did you install ubuntu IN vista? Adn, by the way, what are you meaning with the term "memory"?

By "memory" do you mean hard disk space? If so, then there is no way to increase the space allocated for Ubuntu without decreasing it in Vista.

Assuming you're talking about using Wubi to install Ubuntu on your running Vista system, and you want to resize the virtual disk ubuntu (via Wubi) made, check out the wubi documentation:
