At what step of the boot process does it stop?
Can you enter BIOS setup?

If it stops with the manufacturer's logo, then this might be a hardware problem.

For entering the BIOS you should see a note on the initial screen (something like "Press F12 for Setup")

Ok. I can enter BIOS setup . In my case I have to press F2 and power button. I entered the BIOS but as few discussion suggested tried to entered security but I didn't find PPT to turn off ( I don't know what that means though) . Now, after like trying 3 to 4 times a menu came up and I entered into recovery mode and then opted to fix broken packages , then updated grub thing. Booted my laptop. The laptop has booted but i didn't shut to see if the problem is fixed as I had work.
So it's not a hardware problem. Its definitely a boot problem rest all is fabulous. Sometimes ubuntu panicked at the time it boots. There is something happening that needs some fixing.

Can you help with this problem?
