You may want to Google around for tutorials as most people here would not have the time to write a step by step tutorial for a single person. Plus there are many out there on the Internet already.

For installation of software like NIS, NFS etc. Check out System > Administration > Synaptic Package Manager. Just search for the software you wish to install.
