Screen Resolution

Asked by peter

Hi

I've a screen rersolution of 1280 * 800. And I would get a higher one.

But I don't know the values of the resolutions. Do you know them (an unrealistic example: 1560 * 980)?

Thanks in advance.
Peter

Different monitors have different values for a maximum screen resolution. Go to System > Preferences > Screen Resolution, and see which is the maximum value for your monitor. If 1280 x 800 is the maximum value, then that's the highest that you can go.

Yep, you're right. Because I've a line in xorg.conf: Modes "1280x800". So in System > Preferences > Screen Resolution 1280 x 800 is the maximum I have. Thanks!
