An Actual Upgrade from 16.04 to 18.04 ?

Asked by Douglas Roberts

I have updated so many packages in my Linux Mint KDE 16.04 using your website, plus upgraded my KDE from 5.8 to 5.14 via an article in Linux Babe. An most recently I did a kernel upgrade to 4.19 which worked perfectly. In short, I am mostly "bionic" packages now. I know I am pretty damn close to it.

At this point I have to wonder can I make it official do an an official upgrade to bionic?

I have seen how to posts on the web. But I am running KDE. Is that a problem?

Mint is not supported by the Ubuntu community or Canonical in any way. Mint's support community is entirely separate from Ubuntu's.

I suggest you post on the Mint forum here:
https://forums.linuxmint.com/

None of the "Ubuntu based" distributions are supported here. There are distribution agnostic forums on the Web but this isn't one of them.

Can you help with this problem?
