E: The repository 'http://ppa.launchpad.net/mc3man/trusty-media/ubuntu focal Release' does not have a Release file.
N: Updating from such a repository can't be done securely, and is therefore disabled by default.
N: See apt-secure(8) manpage for repository creation and user configuration details.

This error occurs during sudo apt-get update and I'm not clear on how to solve it, I've looked into the release file but it's out of my expertise, I'm running Ubuntu 20.04

http://ppa.launchpad.net/mc3man/trusty-media/ubuntu/dists/

The PPA doesn't support Focal. You can change the name to "devel" in the configuration file in /etc/apt/sources.list.d but this comes with risks (mind you all PPAs come with risks).

If you don't want to use the "devel" branch I suggest you remove the PPA.

A repository named "trusty"-media does not make any sense on focal.
I recommend disabling it (and not changing to "devel", which also is for trusty)

Can you help with this problem?
