Accessing Windows NTFS drives - permissions
Asked by
lovephyst
I have an extra NTFS formatted drive that I use in conjunction with windows xp. I can read from the drive, but options to create new folders are greyed out. Also, if I try to copy a file over to the drive I get the error 'Error while copying to "/media/
How do i permanently give myself (and other users) permissions to use this drive?
I know this has probably been asked before but I can't seem to get the keywords right... after reading through the forums I believe this somehow uses the 'sudo' command (if I knew what that was) - sorry very new to Ubuntu 7.04.
TIA
