Re install over full disk encryption (forgot passphrase)

Asked by C Mos on 2020-06-29

I was called out for an emergency just after a new install Ubuntu 19.10 on a new ssd and whole disk encryption lvm. The slip of paper where the passphrase info was written was destroyed by my cat. (eaten=unrecoverable) Ido not care about the data, can I re install? Thank You
Shannon

Just start again from the beginning and overwrite the current contents of the hard disk.
