an alternative to itunes

Hello
can anyone recommend an altnatiive to itunes? I jusst want to hve a back up/ alternative jhust used to play music that can display album artwork and hold track listings. I've tried VLC and Gnome MPV but cant work out how to add or edit songs.
I'm using Lubuntu 18.04.4 LTS and have an andoid phone with Synctunes Ultimate

I'd say DeaDBeeF. Looks great and plays great

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:hda-me/deadbeef-master
sudo apt update
sudo apt install deadbeef

There are lots of media players in the repos too. Try a few
