USB camera fails in 20.04

Asked by Bruce MacAlister

My high quality camera (SJ6 Legend) is not detected by Cheese, VLC, Skype, or Zoom. It works in 16.04 and fails in 18.04. I tried 20.04 live to see if it detected the camera. It did not. It detected a built-in webcam and a low resolution USB camera but not the high def camera.
