You have misconfigured your package management system.
You are running Ubuntu 18.04 bionic, but you have enabled the winehq repository for disco (=Ubuntu 19.04).
Edit the configuration file /etc/apt/
Then run
sudo apt update
sudo apt install winehq-stable
If that complains about faudio, then see https:/

OK, could you tell me what to type into the terminal to edit the configuration file?

sudo gedit /etc/apt/

I'm sorry, but I don't understand what to do; I can see it says bionic a couple times but I don't understand how to edit, change and remove duplicates?

Start a terminal window and issue the command
sudo gedit /etc/apt/
This will ask for your password to confirm an administartive Task and will then open the editor with the sources.list config file loaded.
There are some lines (probably near the end of the file) looking like
... https:/
Replace all occurrences of "disco" by "bionic"
This will lead to the situation that some of the lines with winehq in the text are doubled (or even more often)
Remove all winehq lines except one pair:
deb https:/
# deb-src https:/
Save the file and close the editor.
Then run the comand
sudo apt update
and copy/paste the output that we can check for warnings and/or error messages.

Ok, the wine software finally is installed.
I just noticed that you have the bionic-proposed repository enabled. Are you aware that this is part of the testing procedures, and software there is only in the process of being tested and in some cased turns out to be faulty?
Do you on purpose volunteer for these testing activities?

Yes, thank you for your help.
No, I wasn't aware of that; no idea why that is the case, I'm not aware of having volunteered for testing.

Would it have anything to do withg PlayonLinux? I have that, and it's been a bit annoying. I think that may be where I downloaded a version of wine that wasn't ready, or something?
Can you help with this problem?
