Netbook interface

Asked by JerryWilliam

I have installed 9.04, but later saw the netbook interface. Is there a way to install the netbook interface to an ordinary installation of 9.04?

sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop

sudo apt-get remove ubuntu-netbook-remix

Hope that helps

That will install the netbook interface? Or delete it?

I forgot to say you enter them into terminal applications>accessories>terminal
"sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop" installs the regular ubuntu desktop.
"sudo apt-get remove ubuntu-netbook-remix" removes the netbook interface.

Thanks Shane, in any case I started the OS in recovery mode, networked root command line, then used 'apt-get install ubuntu-netbook-remix" and restarted, I was worried that it wouldn't work as I had forgotten that I installed the 64bit version, but so far works fine.
