tracker-extract hanging system after boot in 20.04 fresh install

I just did a fresh install on my Dell XPS-13-9360, and about 20 seconds after every boot, my system slows to a crawl because tracker-extract is using more than 100% of my CPU. It becomes completely unusable, and the only recourse is a hard reset, followed by a reboot, top & kill the pid. Is anyone else experiencing this? How can I fix it?

This may be one of the problems reported in Bug #1826439 or Bug #1826078
