me-tv disabled in ubuntu 20.04

Asked by bruce

It appears me-tv has been removed from all repositories with the introduction of 20.04, this seems a very selfish action seeing as it worked in 19.10 and will cost me the price of a new tv that i don't really need.

Why do you call the removal of this package from the Ubuntu repositories "very selfish"?
This package does not work on current operating system versions any more (cannot be compiled).

If you managed to have this program working in 19.10, you might be able to get it running also on 20.04. There is no support for that package any more, so you have to try yourself.

Seems to be a DVRviewer. I found kodi-pvr-dvbviewer with a search online...
