Libreoffice's option "Customize" is imcompatble to decrease its Window size in Ubuntu 19.10

Asked by Compiler

As discussed in here with all proof:

https://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/236517/i-think-we-need-scroolbar-in-los-customize-option-so-that-users-can-peacefull-use-the-option-which-are-not-visible-in-the-screen/

I was wondering if it's happening in Ubuntu distros only. Since our GNOME is unique.

If you use ALT you can drag from any point on a window. Is this what you mean?

@andrew-woodhead666 NO, that not I mean.

You did read the entire post along with comments clearly, did you!?

LibreOffice's Customize option's window is unshakable and unusable.

That's the whole point.

See this gif: https://imgur.com/9jcTCAz where I am stuck at Customize window. I cannot drag it down. I cannot press option which can get me out of this window.

Alt + C is just a shortkey I customize to go to LO's "Customize" option window, so that I don't have to go to Tools > Customize manually using cursor.

The gif clarifies the issue. What is the output of:

lsb_release -a; uname -a; apt-cache policy libreoffice

If you make a new user is the behaviour the same?

You are using a PPA rather than the official package from the Ubuntu repository. I suggest you contact the PPA maintainer to report the issue. If you use PPAs then results cannot be predicted. You use them at your own risk.

If you run:sudo apt install ppa-purge && sudo ppa-purge ppa:libreoffice/ppa

Then use the LibreOffice from the Ubuntu repositories, is it OK? Why did you add the PPA? What is in the newer version that you need?

I assume in this case the command must be

sudo ppa-purge ppa:libreoffice/libreoffice-6-4
