i have been try in last 7 days want to install Ubuntu 16.04 and 18.04 LTS in my HP Elite book 840 G3 laptop but its not install , i already give the user name ,password, and put the time zone , than its start copying file and than its stuck and no progress . i see in the processing file its showing error that types of message in terminal processing file.. now what should i do for successfully install the Ubuntu...i need urgent solution

Have you tried 20.04? It is due out next month and is LTS. The later packages may help

@actionparsnip can u pls tell me whre is the problem of this Hp elitebook 840 laptop that is stuck in last moment that is copying file and its stuck and show pci bus error in the script...14.04, 16.04, 18.04 LTS same problem at installtion. pls tell me is my laptop RAM or Hard disk issue or others.
