Loading UBUNTU to a Fusion 5 M/C

Asked by Rosengeek

My new M/C comes with Windows 10 pre-installed.

I don't like Windows - & I want to use either Ubuntu stand-alone instead or a dual boot as per my other machines.
The BIOS here shows boot options: UEFI: Bult-in EFI, Windows Boot Manager or Windows Recovery.

How do I zap this to enable e.g GNU Grub??

thanks

keith

Also what does "M/C" mean here please? I can't see this product on the Fusion 5 website. What model do you have please?

Looks like pretty standard stuff. If you want just Ubuntu then you can disable secure-boot then it'll install easily

Many thanks for your excellent advice. I can manage quite happily with Ubuntu alone.!!
