Name of the Occitan language

Asked by Quentin PAGÈS

Hello,
form some times I am wondering why the Occitan language is called here «Occitan (after 1500)».
Would it be possible de call it simply «Occitan»?
There is no change in the way we spell it or something like that.
We just say and write «Occitan».
Thanks to tell me how to have this changed.
Best regards

Where is "here"?

Are you talking about https://translations.launchpad.net/+languages/oc ?

In that case you should ask such question and raise the bug against "Launchpad itself" and not Ubuntu.
(The already existing bug and this question can be re-assigned easily.)

Can you help with this problem?

Provide an answer of your own, or ask Quentin PAGÈS for more information if necessary.
