I don't know how to install Pysol 2.0 on my Ubuntu 16.04, 32bit computer

Asked by Guy A Ingle

I downloaded PySolFC-2.6.4.tar.xz from the internet, but I do not know the procedures or inputs for using the terminal to get the program installed.
I have tried information provided by "ruario" dated 2/22/2015, but the solitaire program does not install. I get stopped at the $ su - command, and the instruction ruario gives lists "gz" instead of "xz". Does that make a difference?

Extract the archive. The contents will show you what to do.

You don't even need the archive. The package is in the Ubuntu repositories. Run:

sudo apt-get install pysolfc

Done.

Thank You Andrew-Woodhead666. That was the perfect answer for me. I now have the solitaire games back. I lost them when the computer quit a few days ago and had to reconstruct everything from scratch. Thanks again.
