data recovery in Ubuntu 16.04.6 LTS

I mistakenly deleted (not in trash) some important data from internal hard drive few days back. can anyone suggest a tool or way to recover it?

If that is "important data", why don't you have a backup?

See the man pages for extundelete.
You will probably need the option "--restore-file GK" or something like that.
