Black screen Ubuntu 19.10 using Nvidia 2070 Super

I have a Gigabyte Gaming 7 motherboard with embedded Intel Graphics card and using a Nvidia 2070 Super Graphics card connected to a 4K display. My onboard card has been disabled in bios but everytime updated video card driver is installed for 2070 Super i see a black screen after ubuntu splash. Any ideas?

If you drop to root recovery mode and run:

lshw -C display

Do you only see the Nvidia chip?
