Intel video driver issue

Using Ubuntu 18.04.
Hi, Use Dell Optiplex 755 with Intel 82Q35 graphics controller.
The video breaks down (cartoon like ) and freezes the screen.
Screen resolution is 1920 X 1080 and seems correct.
I believe it is a driver issue and would like to get the correct driver installed but can't seem to find the answer.
any help would be appreciated.
