Online Account password not accepting unicode with Nextcloud

I had a very complex password with my Nextcloud account with dozens of Unicode letters.
I could not log in until I'd changed my password to a relatively vulnerable one.
I've had this issue for a while and thought someone would fix it already, but it's still not fixed. I guess people either don't use adequately safe passwords or not many use Nextcloud on Ubuntu.
I also could not log in to my Nextcloud WebDAV server through Gnome Files (@ other locations) using WebDAV until changing the password.
Anyways, is anyone willing to or able to fix this?
