how can i change my username and password

hi im fairly new to ubuntu and i install it about 3 months ago and havent used the computer since and forgot my username and password. how do i go about changing them so i can get back on??? thanks alot

System (menu)>Administration>Users and groups

Unlock and then you can add user accounts and change passwords

Did you actually read his question? How can he unlock if he forgot his password?
