Tried to install KUBUNTU desktop, but missing some packages from the download prevented correct installation. How do I find and get the missing packages?

Asked by Bryan D McPherson

When I run the Synaptic Package Manager to download and install KUBUNTU Desktop, it continually misses the following packages: (How do I find, download, and install these so I can check out KUBUNTU)?

update or reload your package list and try the install again. newer versions have been uploaded since your last update and the old packages no longer exist.

Micah,

Thank you, this did indeed solve the problem. I'm in Konqueror working from the KDE right now.

Thanks again,
Bryan
