Which version of Ubuntu supports Kibana 7.4?

Asked by Albert Whale

I am currently running Kibana 6.4 on Ubuntu. I see that I can upgrade this release of Kibana to 6.8. Which version of Ubuntu supports the Kibana 7.4 release?

Instructions are helpful, but does Ubuntu have these features in their repository?

Which features? I can't see a package with "kibana" in the name in the official repositories

As far as I can see Ubuntu does not provide the package kibana in its own repositories, but elastic.co provides a package repository that can be integrated seamlessly into Ubuntu' package management system (see the instructions in the link that actionparsnip gave in his first comment).

The kibana-7.4.2-amd64.deb package that can downloaded from elastic.co does not show any dependency on other packages. This let me assume, that this package can be installed on any supported release of Ubuntu.

This seems not to be an Ubuntu problem but related to Kibana, so maybe you should consider asking on https://discuss.elastic.co/c/kibana
